Claryzo Languages is a language learning and pronunciation practice application that provides:

• A structured, gamified course with 25 units and 125 lessons for learning multiple languages.
• Real-time pronunciation assessment using on-device speech recognition and acoustic models.
• Text-to-speech reference audio for native-like pronunciation examples.
• AI-powered conversation practice using an on-device language model.
• An interactive 3D globe explorer for vocabulary discovery.
• Progress tracking with XP, streaks, hearts, and difficulty levels.

All processing occurs on your device. The App does not require an internet connection for core functionality after the initial setup and model download.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial language learning purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its components, including machine learning models.
• Extract, redistribute, or commercially use the ML models (Whisper, Piper, Wav2Vec2, Gemma) bundled with or downloaded by the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to bypass any security measures or access restrictions of the App.

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of language learning and pronunciation practice.
• Ensure your device meets the minimum requirements for running on-device ML models (iOS 17+ with sufficient storage).
• Grant microphone permission when prompted, understanding it is required for pronunciation practice features.
• Not use the AI conversation feature to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.
• Understand that pronunciation scores and AI feedback are for educational purposes and may not always be perfectly accurate.

All content in the App, including but not limited to:

• Course content, lesson materials, phrases, and translations.
• User interface design, icons, graphics, and animations.
• The Claryzo brand name, logo, and associated trademarks.
• Software code and architecture.

is owned by or licensed to Claryzo and is protected by intellectual property laws. The machine learning models used in the App are subject to their respective open-source licences (where applicable) and may not be extracted or used separately from the App.

The App includes an AI conversation partner powered by an on-device language model. Please note:

• AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies or errors.
• The AI tutor is designed for language practice only and should not be relied upon for factual information.
• Pronunciation feedback and scores are approximations and may not match professional linguistic assessment.
• We implement guardrails to keep AI conversations appropriate and on-topic, but cannot guarantee all responses will be perfect.

The App requires:

• iOS 17.0 or later on a compatible iPhone or iPad.
• Storage space for downloading ML models (speech recognition, text-to-speech, pronunciation scoring, and conversational AI models). Total model size may be up to approximately 1.5 GB.
• Internet connection for the initial model download. After models are downloaded, core features work offline.
• Microphone access for pronunciation practice features.

You are responsible for ensuring your device has sufficient storage and meets the minimum system requirements.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• The accuracy of pronunciation scores, speech recognition results, or AI-generated feedback.
• The completeness or correctness of translations and language content.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App or its ML models.
• Fitness for a particular purpose or guaranteed learning outcomes.

We strive to provide high-quality language learning content but cannot guarantee that using the App will result in fluency or specific learning outcomes.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. This will delete all locally stored data, including your progress, preferences, and downloaded models.

We reserve the right to discontinue, suspend, or modify the App at any time without prior notice. We may also release updates that change features, content, or system requirements.
